How to size a table runner

  1. 1Measure the table

    Measure its length, or the diameter of a round table. Every table gets its own runner.

  2. 2Choose the drop

    Decide how far it falls at each end: 8 or 12 in (20 or 30 cm), 30 in (75 cm) to the floor, or 37 in (95 cm) to pool.

  3. 3Add 20% and round up

    Add 20% of the table length for a gathered look, add the drop twice, then round up to the next runner length.

How long should my table runner be?

Take the table length, add 20% for a gathered look, then add the drop at each end twice. A 71 in (180 cm) table with a 12 in (30 cm) drop needs 109 in (276 cm), so a 118 in (300 cm) runner, like The Crinkled Cheesecloth Gauze Runner.

How many runners do I need?

What size arch cover do I need?

Measure your frame's width and height. The Fitted Stretch Arch Cover comes in 31 x 71 in, 39 x 79 in and 47 x 87 in (80 x 180, 100 x 200 and 120 x 220 cm), width by height, from $34.95. The frame is not included.

Will the color match my screen?

Screens shift color, so hold the fabric against your flowers and venue when it arrives. If a shade is off, unused, unwashed fabric in its original packaging can go back within 30 days.

Is cheesecloth see-through?

Yes, it has an open weave. One layer lets the table show through; gathering or doubling it gives deeper color and more texture.

Can I return it?

Within 30 days of delivery, if it's unused, unwashed and in its original packaging. Fabric used at an event or cut to length can't be returned unless it's faulty. Returns
